Your journey b egins with a visit to Tran Quoc Pagoda, nestled on the picturesque Golden Fish Island in West Lake. This ancient pagoda, dating bac k to the 6th century, is a testament to Hanoi's rich history. Next, you'll discover the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you'll have a remar kable opportunity to view the preserved body of Ho Chi Minh himself. Stroll through the lush garden, which once served as his resid ence and workplace from 1954 to 1969. Your next stop is the One Pillar Pagoda, an architectural marvel dedicated to the Goddess of Mer cy. It stands as one of the world's most unique pagodas. Please remember to dress modestly, covering your shoulders and knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, and pagodas. Keep in mind that the mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays, if yo u travel on closing dates of this place, our guide would replace this to another attraction. Your culinary and cultural journey kicks off with a visit to a local restaurant, where you'll have the pleasure of indulging in a Vietnamese lunch. The first stop on your itinerary is the esteemed Temple of Literature, known as Van Mieu -Quoc Tu Giam. Founded in the year 1070, this historic complex holds immense significance in Hanoi. Stroll through its picturesque gardens, marvel at the time -honored architecture, and immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of the country's educational heritage. The journey continues with a visit to Hoa Lo Prison, a site that holds historical weight and was famously known as the "Hanoi Hilton." Early departure for Halong Bay, a World Heritage as designated by Unesco in 1994 with nearly 3,000 rocky islets. The drive may take you more than three to four hours utmost depending on the high or low seasons‟ traffic, and will pass the Red River Delta, one of the two granaries of Vietnam. Upon arriving in Halong, we will sa il our boat round its natural rocky gardens whilst a tasty seafood lunch is waiting on board. Most of the islets here are not for living due to the lack of fresh water, but are excellent for cruising to contemplate their miraculous draws on the horizon. Leave the bustle of Da Nang for a day and escape to the mountainous serenity of the Ba Na Hills. After visiting the Linh Ung Pagoda, take a cable car to the top of Nui Chua Mountain and grab lunch in a local restaurant. Spend the rest of your afternoon capti vated by the attractions at Fantasy Park. Your morning begins with pickup from your hotel. A friendly guide drives you out of the city to Ba Na Hills, a resort founded in the 1920s by French colonists. On the way there, stop at Linh Ung Pagoda to marvel at a 220 -foot (67-m) statue of a Bodhisattva. Pass by old French villas and a historic wine cellar, learning about the French occupation of Vietna m from your guide. Once in the mountains, board a cable car and ride to the summit of Nui Chua Mountain. Make the easy trek to Nghinh Pho ng Peak and enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding region, and then stop in a restaurant for a tasty lunch of Vietnamese cuis ine. Later, venture to Ba Na Hill's Fantasy Park, an indoor entertainment zone with thrilling games for the whole family. Today morning check-out from your hotel. You will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back. Upon your arrival at Ho Chi Minh City, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day i s free for you to explore Ho Chi Minh on your own. MORNING OPTION: Take the half day trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathed ral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. End trip. AFTERNOON OPTION: Visit to Cho Lon (Big Market) and Thien Hau Pagoda which is located in China Town. Continue to Bach Dang harbor. After checking in the waterbus tickets, and stabilizing your seat, the boat will start to depart. During the trip, yo u will have a unique view of the most typical commercial buildings of the city including the Vinhomes Central Park urban area, the magnific ent Landmark 81 tower, the Bitexco Financial Tower, the green peaceful District 2. 07:30 AM: Depart for Cai Be by van/bus via Trung Luong Expressway. Upon arrival in Cai Be, have a boat ride to the remaining site of a renowned wholesale floating market on the Tien River many years ago. This site entitles you to know something about the local trading habit that has changed due to the age of the modern society when more terrestrial transportation and high technique of agricu lture have dominated everywhere. There, you can realize how diverse the area is and how rich orchard gardens are, which makes it th e basket of fruit in the lower part of the Mekong River.
