Refund and Returns Policy

Refund and Returns Policy

Effective Date: 01 January 2010
Company Name: SwastiK Leisure Holidays

At SwastiK Leisure Holidays, we aim to provide our customers with a smooth and enjoyable holiday experience. We understand that travel plans may sometimes change. This Refund and Returns Policy explains our terms regarding cancellations, refunds, changes, and other travel-related services.

1. Booking Confirmation

A holiday package is considered confirmed once the required booking amount or advance payment has been received by SwastiK Leisure Holidays and the booking confirmation has been issued.

Certain hotels, airlines, transport providers, activities, and other third-party services may have their own cancellation and refund conditions. These conditions may apply in addition to our policy.

2. Cancellation by the Customer

Customers may request cancellation of their holiday package by contacting us in writing.

Applicable cancellation charges may depend on how far in advance the cancellation is made:

  • More than 40 days before departure: Cancellation charges of 25% of the total package cost.

  • 40–30 days before departure: Cancellation charges of 50% of the total package cost.

  • 30–20 days before departure: Cancellation charges of 75% of the total package cost.

  • Less than 10 days before departure: Cancellation charges of 100% of the total package cost.

  • No-show or cancellation after departure: No refund will generally be provided.

The exact cancellation amount may vary depending on the cancellation policies imposed by airlines, hotels, cruise operators, activity providers, transport companies, visa providers, or other third-party suppliers.

3. Non-Refundable Services

Some services may be completely non-refundable once booked or issued. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Airline tickets and certain flight bookings

  • Hotel bookings with non-refundable rates

  • Visa and permit fees

  • Travel insurance premiums

  • Special events, activities, and attraction tickets

  • Cruise bookings

  • Transportation services

  • Promotional or discounted packages specifically identified as non-refundable

Any non-refundable amount will be communicated to the customer where applicable.

4. Refund Process

Where a refund is approved, it will normally be processed after the applicable cancellation charges and non-refundable supplier costs have been deducted.

Refunds will generally be made to the original payment method used for the booking.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, bank, airline, hotel, or other service provider. SwastiK Leisure Holidays will initiate the eligible refund within 15 to 30 business days after approval, but the time taken for the funds to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the relevant bank or payment provider.

5. Cancellation by the Company

In exceptional circumstances, SwastiK Leisure Holidays may need to cancel or substantially modify a holiday package due to circumstances such as supplier cancellation, natural disasters, government restrictions, operational issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where applicable, customers will be offered one of the following, subject to supplier terms:

  • An alternative travel date or package;

  • A credit or travel voucher; or

  • A refund of eligible amounts after deduction of non-refundable third-party costs.

Our liability for third-party services will be subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant supplier.

6. Changes or Amendments to Bookings

Customers may request changes to travel dates, accommodation, destinations, passenger details, or other package components.

Changes are subject to availability and may incur amendment fees, fare differences, supplier charges, or administrative fees. Any additional costs will be communicated before the change is confirmed.

7. Shortened Trips and Unused Services

No refund will normally be provided for services that a customer voluntarily chooses not to use after the trip has commenced, including unused hotel nights, meals, sightseeing, transportation, activities, or other package components.

Where a supplier provides a refund for an unused service, SwastiK Leisure Holidays will pass the eligible amount to the customer after applicable deductions.

8. Delays, Missed Flights, and No-Shows

Customers are responsible for arriving at airports, hotels, meeting points, and other scheduled locations on time.

Refunds for missed flights, transfers, tours, hotel check-ins, or other services will be subject to the applicable supplier’s terms and conditions.

9. Force Majeure

SwastiK Leisure Holidays will not be responsible for losses, cancellation charges, or additional expenses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government restrictions, political or civil disturbances, strikes, transportation disruptions, or other extraordinary events.

Any refunds or alternative arrangements in such circumstances will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the terms imposed by relevant suppliers.
